《新アダムとイヴの誕生》　シリーズ

A selection from painting works of Tadami Yamada, Part 1. The series of The Birth of New Adam and Eve.

　キリスト教神学では、アダムは死ぬべき運命（mortal）の存在の象徴であり、対極に不死（immortal）の存在としてのイエスがある。つまりアダム（とイヴ）こそ「人間」なのであった。
　この死を内包する生命アダムに、私は、誕生以前にすでに傷付けられ楽園から見放されている現代の過酷な生命状況を重ね見る。私のアダムは神学から遠く離れようとしているかも知れない。そしてまた、私のイヴは、いまだ製作が進んでいないとはいえ、神学によって貶められた存在ではなく、死に到るまでの生命を誇り高くうたいあげることだろう。

In Christian theology, Adam is a symbol of the mortal, and at the other end is Jesus as the existence of immortality. In other words, Adam and Eve were "human."
I am watching to reflect the present -day severe life situation which has already been damaged and abandoned from the paradise before birth under the pretext on Adam's life that contains death. My Adam may be going far away from theology. And I am drawing Eve who is not looked down by the old theology, and she is to be proudly about in her life to go to death.
